Lady Nika and Sgt Roko
The cutest farm puppies ... ever
We just wanted to brag about our ornery farm puppies. Sgt, Roko is a Husky-Heeler mix. I think the term is Ausky. Lady Nika is a super-mutt and we even had Embark's dog DNA test to prove it.
The puppies are now all grown-up
Lady Nika is about 40 pounds and continues to be the most perfect puppy (or dog) on this planet. She knows exactly when to just hang out and do nothing and when to play and show off her high speed zoomies. Her favorite playmate, of course, is her brother, Sgt. Roko.
Sgt. Roko is about 65 pounds. He looks a lot bigger than he really is because of all that hair. He also looks mean because of those beautiful wolf-gray eyes. But he is really very sweet and would like to cuddle all the time. He is also word-smart and would listen intently to whatever you are saying.

Summer is here
Kicking off the Dog Days of Summer
Sgt. Roko and Lady Nika are looking forward to summer! These are the days when they can explore more, play longer, and generally have lots of outside fun.
Right now, they are relaxing and allowing a quick photo op, before they'd run off again, trying to catch rabbits and birds. So far, they have not been successful.
Toy Rope Tug-o-War
4/17: Lady Nika and Sgt Roko were happy to help us collect flags after all deer repellants were buried next to each sapling.
